Method 1 - The knife is the easiest way to do it, but be careful not to cut into the flesh - gently use your paring knife and peel the skin one small section at a time around the kiwi. You only need to do deep enough to see the green flesh - kiwi skin is very thin! (We recommend the paring knife in this knife set)
Method 2 - To use a spoon - place the kiwi on the cutting board and slice it top to bottom, then slide a spoon underneath and cut off the ends.
Method 3 - This is our preferred method. To use a peeler - First, be sure to cut into the flesh a little bit so that the fruit can release its juice. Finally, cut off any sharp edges on the vegetable peeler and slide it under the skin of the kiwi to remove it.
Step 3: Ways to cut a kiwi : chunks, wedges, or slices!
First slice the fruit in half lengthwise, then proceed to cut them into your choice of chunks, wedges or slices! This will make it easier to eat and also look prettier on a platter or dessert. For example, if you are cutting a piece of fruit in half, you would slice the kiwi in half, then cut it into two smaller pieces. If you are cutting a piece of fruit in thirds, you would slice it in thirds then cut it into three smaller pieces. Finally, if you are cutting a piece of fruit into cubes, you would first slice it in half then dice the two halves.
